The Ritual
Prepare your space. Clear and cleanse your space. If you have a preferred cleansing practice — sage, palo santo, sound, prayer — use it now. Set up your materials on a clean surface. If using essential oil, anoint the green candle by rubbing a small amount from the center outward toward each end.
Ground yourself. Sit with your feet flat on the floor or, better yet, sit on the earth outside. Take five slow, deep breaths. Feel your body. Feel the weight of yourself. Taurus is an earth sign — the more grounded you are, the more potent this ritual becomes.
Light your candle. As you light it, say: I open myself to abundance. I am ready to receive.
Write your prosperity intentions. On your piece of paper, write your abundance intentions in the present tense, as though they are already true. Be specific and sensory — not just "I have more money" but "I earn enough to feel genuinely secure and to live with joy and ease. I am building financial stability that honors my worth and serves my family." Write as much or as little as feels true.
Speak your intentions aloud. Read what you have written out loud, clearly and without rushing. The spoken word carries enormous power, especially under a Taurus lunation. Let your voice be steady and certain.
Hold your coin. Place the coin in your hands and close your eyes. Feel its weight. Its texture. Its realness. Say: Money flows to me with ease. I am worthy of financial abundance. I receive with gratitude and use with wisdom.
