Mini Workshop: The Equinox and the Power of Balance
The Meaning of the Equinox
The Autumn Equinox happens when day and night are equal in length. It marks the transition from summer’s outward energy to autumn’s inward pull. Spiritually, it symbolizes balance, integration, and the turning of the wheel toward reflection.
Every Equinox falls in Libra season, the sign of harmony, justice, and partnership. While solstices represent extremes (longest day, longest night), equinoxes remind us that equilibrium is always possible—even if temporary.
The 2025 Equinox in Context
This year’s Equinox (Sept 22) arrives just after the Virgo Solar Eclipse, amplifying its message. Together, they ask us to:
Recalibrate our lives by noticing imbalance.
Restore our energy after months of overextension.
Celebrate our harvests—not just crops, but the spiritual and creative work we’ve nurtured.
Reflection Questions
Where in my life am I giving more than I’m receiving?
How can I build rhythms that honor both productivity and rest?
What am I ready to “harvest” and celebrate before moving into the next season?
